I was thrilled the Teen Vogue picked up Amandla's Instagram post honoring "my mom the legend." I was even more thrilled Amandla used this particular photo, which Amandla shot of me as we entered a diner.  I love this coat. I bought it in New York while in town to cover Fashion Week. And the image is arguably more glamorous than the Grey Gardens-esque photo below she also captured.
