Why SpiritKnit?
The word "SpiritKnit" came to me over a decade ago during a 4 a.m. painting session. I spontaneously doodled a pair of knitting needles intersecting a spiral, a symbol of spiritual growth and awareness. (I was an avid knitter then.) I had no idea how I would utilize this word but soon thereafter I attached it to a line of handknit scarves which I presented to celebrities at a Golden Globes gift suite. It has become what I call my "nom de presence"— a gentle reminder that everything is connected through Spirit. Therefore so are we.
